You’re still here! You kept reading even though I warned you I had no idea where this was going. Well, thank you. Thank you for sticking with me. Thank you for the comments that are sure to start further discussion and more posts.
I’d also like to thank my tech support who helped me get this blog up and running. Without your help, this project would have never made lift-off. Thanks Paul at WordPress who answered all SEVENTEEN of my insane tech idiot questions. I don’t know how but I got to talk to Paul twice on seperate calls. I started to tell the backstory and as soon as I mentioned the name of the blog he said, “Wow, that’s odd. I’m pretty sure I’ve spoken to someone about this same blog.” Of course that led to various shouts of joy and relief that I didn’t have to re-tell my story but how many times have you called customer service and gotten the same person on different days? That’s never happened to me before even when I had a case file. I did not have one in this instance. Paul, you were so helpful and courteous. I’m remiss to have not taken down your last name.
Another huge thanks to Brittani of Polk Studios. She gave me the final push I needed to get out there. It’s her design and web design that helped bring this blog to life. She lifted my words off my drab pages document and brought them to you. Brittani, you were such a joy to work with. You were so easy and understanding and despite how many times I changed my mind or provided ‘little tweaks’ you were always so receptive. Thank you for being so patient with me.
I’m not tech savvy in the least but these two educated me and shared information with me that I will happily pass along in a future blog post. I’m grateful for internet, my 9 year old iMac (which is now to old to even get some apps and upgrades), my wireless printer (that is no longer wireless and always needs to be physically connected) and my notebook which has held all my atrocious sketches and chicken scratch handwriting.
Most importantly, I’m grateful to my Father in Heaven who knew I would be doing this at this point in my life. Who has enriched my life with enough experiences that I can now share with you. Heavenly Father, may my words here be a testament to your goodness and mercies shown in my life. Thank you.
For from Him and through Him and for Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever! Amen. – Romans 11:36 NIV
